Publication of new dental specialty curricula
The General Dental Council launched new dental specialty curricula on 23rd March 2023. PDF versions of the old and new curricula can be found in the Specialty Curricula area of the GDC website.
Implementation of the new curricula
This will not happen immediately. The Joint Meeting of Dental Faculties (JMDF), to which Specialty Advisory Committees report, has established a Dental Curriculum Oversight Group with key stakeholders such as the GDC and COPDEND to agree implementation plans. More information will be provided in due course.
