ISCP Site Update

Many thanks to all of you who have contacted us to report issues or give suggestions on how the site can be improved. We are now ready to release the latest changes to the site based upon this feedback.

Latest updates:

- Trainees entering leave or time out of programme (not counting) will now find that the relevant Training Programme Directors will be displayed based upon their Specialty and Deanery/LETB (see Menu / Add / Training History – Out of Training/Leave form)

- A new Trainee Portfolio report is available which can be downloaded in PDF format

- Educational Managers can now view their trainees via "My Trainees"

- Trainers will find that the trainee certification date is now showing in the Trainee Summary

- Heads of School, TPDs, DTPDs, SAC Chairs and SAC Liaison Members now have a report tool with the ability to print in different formats

- Training Programme Directors’ secretary access has been reinstated

- Improved guidance has been added to the “Retract” option to explain the process

Coming very soon – Access restrictions (JCST fee and enrolment)

- Access restrictions will be implemented from the 1st of November 2016, for those who, by this date, have not paid the 2016-17 fee

- Access restrictions will also be put in place for Surgical Trainees who are yet to enrol with the JCST and have not initiated the process by submitting their enrolment form to the Deanery/LETB.

What we are working on next:

- Further improvements to the Portfolio report such as including information from ARCPs and LA Final Reviews

- Enabling trainers and supervisors to record notes about their trainees, and have them show in trainees’ journal

- Changes to the Interim ARCP recommendation page so that comments can be added without an ARCP outcome being set

- New alerts for SAC Liaison Members when their trainees have been awarded an ARCP Outcome 6.

As always, please contact the ISCP Helpdesk (helpdesk@iscp.ac.uk) with any comments you have about the site.

Kindest regards

ISCP Development Team
