On 25 May 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) will replace the Data Protection Act.
The privacy of users’ data is important to the ISCP and in accordance with the new legislation we will be making some changes to the website, including:
- new Terms & Conditions, which will need to be signed off by all users
- an improved MSF process for both trainers and trainees
- more information displayed on trainees placement/leave pages.
GDPR is a positive step towards you having more control over how your data is used and how you are contacted by organisations. The changes will also help to better protect your personal data. You can find more information about GDPR on the Information Commissioner's Office website.
